Project Runway: Episode 8

I LOVED this week's challenge! And why did I love it so much? Because it involved one of America's classic style icons Jacqueline Kennedy!

The only problem with this challenge? I'm starting to feel like I don't like any of the designers this season.... In the past seasons there are usually at least 2 designers that blow me away but this year it is really hard to pick one! However I will say that I totally think the winner deserved it this time! The challenge was to make a piece inspired for today's Jacquelyn Kennedy and to make a piece of outerwear!

My favorites this episode were *sigh* Ivy
Ivy's design

and Mondo!
Mondo's design

What did you think?

I agree! Although I usually only see the reruns, I've seen a little this season...
There has not really been anything breathtaking, or really imaginative - my favourite part of a garment is often the back (I adore elegant backs, with most of the flesh showing) and none of them really do anything for me like that...
You can easily tell their inspirations - I'm sure I see an Alexander McQueen esque skirt, Yohji Yamamoto jacket...
I agree with you, my favourite is probably Mondo's...
