The Weekend is Here!!!!

Well it's been quite a crazy week! I feel like I didn't have time to get ANYTHING done!
However, I did have time to participate in a little blog game presented to me by Meagan @ Mo Pie, Please!

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
(I had to agree with Meagan on this!) “Perfect happiness to me is feeling content with the way my life is.” I feel that you should be satisfied with yourself, no matter what challenges you are facing. Always know you are doing your best, and that everything works out JUST RIGHT in the end.
via
What is your greatest fear?
I’ve never truly been afraid of anything. Of course I may “wonder” from time to time about the future: kids, death, job security, etc. but I always know that things work out the way they are supposed to.

Which figures do you most identify with?
People who are easy-going and appreciate the little things in life.
via
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
As much patience that I have (especially at work!) I wish that I could lose my “human” moments when I feel like things have gotten completely out of control.
via
What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Negativity. I try to always find the bright side in things. When people just start ratting on everything or complaining about something trivial I get irritated.

What do you most value in your friends?
I can honestly say I have the craziest, most mixed-up selection of friends (I mean this in a good way). They all have little pieces of qualities that I can turn to when I need them most. My friends are also HONEST, so I know I can go to them for true advice.

What words or phrases do you most overuse?
“Oh yeah…” or “Cool”. I say these a lot when I’m listening to other people. *but don’t worry, I really am listening!*

What is your favorite journey?
I like the word choice of “journey”. The biggest journey I have ever made was moving to Lubbock, TX to finish school when I was 20. My dad told me once that there was more to life than just what was happening in McKinney, TX (where I’m from). Who knew that Lubbock would be where I would meet my best friends, my hubby and have one of my favorite adventures in life!
via
What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
I have to say morality. What is “right” and what is “wrong” is determined by individual choices and opinions. I once heard someone say “why do I need someone to tell me what is good or bad when I already know?” It’s true there are certain times when someone’s feelings will get involved, but really we decide what is good and what is bad and shouldn’t expect everyone to agree on our beliefs. The Golden Rule isn’t necessarily “treat others the way you want to be treated” but should really be “treat others the way THEY want to be treated” because we don’t all like to be treated the same way…

via
What is your favorite occupation?
I don’t think I like this question. “Occupation” sounds like work. I like jobs that are meaningful and that I enjoy. I can’t really pinpoint it to one thing though.

What do you dislike most about your appearance?
Easy. I look like a 12-year-old. People walk into my classroom and ask: “where is your teacher?” because they think I’m a student. People don’t believe I am about to turn 26!!! (yeah, yeah, yeah.. I know I will enjoy it when I’m “older”. It doesn’t help that the way I look makes me think I’m still 12 sometimes!)

I promise, I'm not a student!
What is your greatest regret?
There are things in life that I could have done differently, but I wouldn’t have learned from those experiences. NO REGRETS!

What or who is the greatest love of your life?
My hubby. My BFFFFFFFFFFF! It might sound sickening, but we love doing things together! Everything’s just better when we’re together!

Where and when were you happiest?
It’s hard to attribute one time to being the happiest. But I am happiest when I am with good friends and good family.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Nevermind me: Can there be more time in the day? I would really appreciate that. Thanks!

What do you consider to be your greatest achievement?
Finding a job that I love and am naturally good at. I went through a series of terrible, horrible, no-good very bad jobs before I found this one. Looking back I realize they were all learning experiences to prepare me for where I am today.

What is your most treasured possession?
My family.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Being unsure of where your life is going. There have been times in my life where I have truly struggled and wondered what the heck I was even doing.

Where would you like to live?
By the water. Preferably on a boat on the water. Somewhere warm :)
via
What is your most marked characteristic?
My sense of humor. I turn a lot of things into jokes, or “laugh it off”. I realize not everyone appreciates this, but it’s my coping mechanism for dealing with things!

What is your greatest extravagance?
Definitely our menu also! Hubby and I love to cook. Let’s just say we eat very well ALL the time!

What are the qualities you most like in a man?
Before I met my hubby the MUST HAVE qualities were (which, don’t worry, he has them!)
  1  family is important
     2. willingness to work out issues
     3. plays the guitar ;)

sooooo handsome!
Who are your favorite writers?
Chuck Klosterman, JD Salinger & Benjamin Hoff

Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs: A Low Culture Manifesto   The Catcher in the Rye   Tao of Pooh and Te of Piglet Boxed Set
How would you like to die?
Of course the same way I would assume the most of us do: In my sleep! I would definitely like to escape the experience of an unpleasant death!

Who is your favorite hero of fiction?
Batman. Who doesn’t love a rich guy who doesn’t need superpowers, just fancy toys?
via
Who are your heroes in real life?
Definitely my mama! She was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer last year and is now cancer free! She made it through with lots of love and support! LOVE MY MAMA!

such a cute mama!
What is your motto?
Love, Love, Love! (all you need is love, love, love is all you need!

You have a great attitude on life. Can't believe you're only 26 (not because of the way you look - hee hee - but because of the way you think!). And it's so sweet how in love you are with your hubby. That's so great!
