Happy Monday!

Oh! Zut Alors! I almost forgot to mention another place that is a must-see in Paris! If you have seen the movie Amélie, you might find it interesting to know that Café des Deux Moulins is a real place!

I'll just add it to my list of things to do!

Well, as for my weekend, I spent it outside, once again, at the Houston Free Press Summer Fest! While it was a blast, it was also ridiculously hot (let me just say, there were lots of people walking around in bathing suits... and bras... *shudder*) But other than that I was glad to see the lineup of bands they had this year.

We caught the tail end of Big Boi and I was so excited when he sang one of my favorite Outkast songs, Skew it on the Bar-B
(caution... it's got some language if that's not your cup of tea!)

Then we saw Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings... that girl can shake it!
Sweet Suits
Telling us what's up!

We also saw a band called Ween... it's somewhat of a "Cult" band, kind of comparable to Phish or Widespread Panic, and the fans were very excited to be there! I couldn't complain too much though, they ended the night throwing out confetti!

I think this pic turned out awesome ;)

Sunday night closed out with Weezer, unfortunately we couldn't make it out. I was pretty bummed, but I do love me some Buddy Holly & The Sweater Song, so I made a Weezer playlist for your Monday!

I didn't go to summer fest, but I witnessed many of the bra/bathing suit tops as we drove in the area. Yikes! Such a fun lineup of bands!
