Parisian Chic

I have been on a "French Kick" if you will. Starting with reading the book, Parisian Chic, by Ines de la Fressange.

Think of it more like the perfect travel companion for going to France. While the book does list several fashion tips (and faux pas), I was mostly excited to see all the wonderful places to shop, do &  see while in Paris! Oh la la

So, I have officially "planned" my agenda for when I go to Paris!

My first stop?
111 Boulevard Beaumarchais

Ok, let me see... what's not to love about this place? Known as "Paris's Top Concept-Store", it carries everything from furniture to kitchen accessories, clothes and even a perfume lab & florist! (Oh, and if that isn't enough, there is a restaurant downstairs!) Definitely a must-see!

sooooo cute! Oh! And they donate part of their profits to underprivileged children! What's not to love?

Second stop:

Mamie Gâteaux
66 Rue Cherche Midi

Known for it's nostalgic antiques, as well as the Japanese owner's fabulous pastries, Mamie Gâteaux is one of France's "best kept secrets". But it looks fabulously amazing!

I love the bowl display!

For some art & leisure:

2 Rue Louis Boilly

Known as the holding the world's largest collection of Monet paintings, who wouldn't stop in?

(And while you're at it, don't forget Monet's House & Gardens in Giverny!)

For some light reading...

224 Rue de Rivoli

Known as the first English bookstore in Europe, who wouldn't want to stop in for a few hours?

Looks like Heaven!

And of course, once I'm worn out from all this traveling, I will have to stop for a snack at the infamous...

172 Boulevard Saint-Germain

(you have to visit their website, if not for the fun video!)

Afterwards, once I'm ready for a night on the town...

17 Place du Trocadero

Check out that view!

Well, I'm ready to pack my bags! How about you? Have a fabulous weekend rêver de Paris!

Great post! I just love France and Paris. It has been a while since I have been there. When the kids are a bit older, we hope to take a family trip to Paris.
