Good/Bad/Cool/Ugly

Good
I ended up designating this week: Keep Calm and Eat a Cupcake Week!
via
Project Runway!!!! Here are my favorite outfits from Episode 1

Another quick weekend trip to Austin to meet up with my mama
(She was passing through)
Mama and the hubs (see why I look 13? Apparently so does my mom!)

Bad
I’m not going to lie, this week was pretty horrid
I will spare you the gory details ***Refer to Ugly
Cool
These amazing Gingerbread Pancakes @Austin Java
Amy’s Ice Cream: Mexican Vanilla with Cookie Dough!

Interesting decor in the Austin: Framed wall painting?
(The wall was blue, but was painted yellow inside the frames)

Surprised my class with a surprise field trip to see Captain America.
They definitely deserved it this week!
Ugly
I thought last week was bad. I guess this was God’s way of telling me to stop complaining and appreciate what I have in front of me. I literally experienced death and destruction this week (2 funerals and a collapsed ceiling in my classroom) Not to mention an ambulance showing up to work when one of my students had a seizure… oh and someone decided to quit at work. It was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week…. Remedied by a quick getaway to see my lovely mama!

How was your week? Hopefully you have better news to share!

Oh my! Well your good's sound great. But I'm sorry for your ugly's. That sounds like it was a hard one to get through, but good for you for taking each day at a time and appreciating the good things that God gives you. It's so hard to do when all of that happens, but I really hope this is a better week for you. You deserve it after this past one!

Oh no! I am sorry you had such an awful week! It sounds like a tough one to get through - this is why acknowledging the good makes the ugly a bit more bearable!

And those gingerbread pancakes... yum!! I've never tried them before but I think I will have to make some!

I love the idea of Cupcake week! I'm all about the cupcakes lol :) And that first look you have from Project Runway was my favorite of the season! I can't wait to see how the season goes.
