So how do you hold your expectations? Do you have high ones or do you just "let it be"?
And speaking of expectations, and seeing that it is Humorous Hump Day, does anyone remember "Lowered Expectations"?
(And this is the best of both worlds because it also has Ms. Swan)

you totally nailed it. expectations are key and mine are often set too high. i just expect so much more from people.
I've never heard that Shakespeare quote but I really love it. - soo true.
I'm learning to check my expectations at the door on certain things - but other times, I do hold high expectations and expect others to rise to them...especially when they are close to me and I know their capacity...(that's the toughest one to let go of...)
I agree with Shakespeare...so if I REALLY want something, I let it be known...I don't harbor secret expectations! Great food for thought Jess!
i totally agree with these. not good to expect things, this almost ALWAYS leads to disappointment. and never do anything thinking someone will return the favor. just like that rule that states if you lend someone money, expect that it will never be given back (okay, i guess that IS an expectation too - haha)

we learn as we go. creating great expectations is a hard habit to break but being reminded, like this, helps the curve flow so the well won't break. nice one, i love those quotes! ♥
