Good Morning! How was your weekend?

Sometimes our lives require frequent reflection and tweaking. Sometimes we've got to learn from our mistakes and adjust accordingly. I oftentimes find myself doing things I don't want to do because I'm trying to be "nice" or I'm trying to make someone happy not be mad at me.

It's finally dawned on me though. If someone isn't happy with you, isn't it their problem? Unless you honestly did something intentionally to hurt that person;
If someone doesn't like what you are doing, it shouldn't be up to you to fix it.

But sometimes I set these ridiculous expectations of myself for other people that aren't really there and that only makes people end up getting hurt. Or I end up letting people walk all over me because I don't stand up for myself
