Motivational Monday- Do One Thing Different

Happy Monday! How was your weekend?
Everything is back to normal after my Birthday Month, however there is always reason to celebrate!
*For example, my countdown to Paris begins this month! 21 days!*

I have started reading a book called Do One Thing Different which talks about how
1. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results
2. Changing small things you do will produce some sort of change in your life, whether it is brushing your hair differently, going for a walk outside, or even getting out of the bed differently.

Sometimes we expect change to come to us. Or we say "well when I finally do *blank* THEN I will decide to be happy!" This book really questions "Why can't we be happy NOW?"

So my challenge to you is to try something a little bit differently today. Maybe try it with a different perspective, a pair of new shoes, or maybe try a new place for lunch! Just try it, and see!

PS The winner of my Cross Stitch Giveaway is

Congrats to Amanda at Eloquent English!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Yeah! Keep that spirit alive Jess! That is one way to feel like you're really living your life to the fullest. For me, I'm telling myself to push boundaries in my crafting and sewing and not stick to my usual projects. I've just made myself a halter top for the summer from a pattern, and i will keep trying other patterns like i've been meaning to!

That is a great idea, and if I get that one thing done! celebrations! mini celebrations only take a few seconds, like: sit down, take off shoes, massage each foot..go on. Ha haha
