Being in a new work environment can cause lots of things to happen. You have to adjust to the job in itself, as well as the other people who are involved with your job. And unfortunately, not everyone is courteous and polite all the time.

besides, some people are just having bad days, and it's not always you that's the problem. everyone deserves at least a second chance, right?
how do you handle rude people? I never know what to say. I'm a firm believer in "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all," However some people will continue to be rude to you if you don't stick up for yourself.... It's a real catch 22!
But remember, being nice always wins!

Yes, rude people are terrible and I'm never quite sure how to handle them. Don't worry because karma will catch up to them - just focus on being the nice sweet person you are
Gorgeous quotes. I just try to ignore rude people or I tell them off in a polite way as like you say sometimes they are having a bad day and take it out on others, so they need to be more aware. Because we all have bad days, but it doesn't give us the right to take it out on others. Forget people in work, just carry on doing your best :))) x
it never ceases to amaze me how rude some people can be. generally i just try to ignore them, but certain circumstances call for you to speak up, and offer a polite but firm response.
Love these quotes!
Ugg, I hope that people are a bit nicer to you soon! That's so difficult.
Yuck! I used to work retail and my philosophy to rude folk was KILL them with KINDNESS.
Now that I'm a teacher, though, it's so much harder. One of the old schools I worked at had a teacher that had a very abrupt (RUDE) way of responding to people. I never knew if it was sarcasm or her just having a bad day. Eventually, I stopped trying to be nice and ended up being rather cold to her. Not rude, just not as courteous as I would be to others.
Poor strategy but I didn't think it was worth a confrontation (we taught different grades) or my time. I'm sorry you're going through this! I hope it's not someone you have to work closely with- if so, talk to them. It may help.
Oh boy am I going through this right now! I would definitely pass out a few of those cards...if nothing else but to give them a wake up call! I actually ask people why they are so mad/rude at times. It either pisses them off more that you "care" or makes them take a step back. Win/Win!
ah! you totally have to kill them with kindness!
If someone is rude to me, I typically tell them so in a very nice-ish but firm way.. For example "I know you maybe didn't mean it that way, but the way you are talking to me feels rude and it hurts my feelings. Is there something I can do so that you don't treat me this way in the future?" I find that this tactic almost always works. As long as I say something like "the way you talk to me makes me feel bad" people start to realize that their words do have an effect on others.
I really love this post! What a nice blog you have! It was nice to stumble across you! Maybe if you have time you could check mine out too!

That is a hard one, isnt it? I usually just try to ignore it and hope that the person will be nicer next time around. Hope you will have a wonderful morning, sweetie.
