One of those movies is Saved, and before you start wondering if I had a teen pregnancy; the answer is NO. However, the movie deals with a girl who grows up in a very religious background and starts to question her beliefs... something I'm sure we all can relate to!
Now, combine that movie with Little Miss Sunshine, and take away the cocaine-using grandpa, and you totally have the (exaggerated) version of my childhood... crazy vacations and all!
Toni Collette and Greg Kinnear even look like my parents!
Growing up, my family was constantly going on roadtrips and family vacations. And while they were extremely annoying and painful experiencing them, (we would all have rather stayed at home with our FRIENDS! HELLO!) However, looking back they were really great family experiences.
Mom driving the car with Fred Flinstone in Hawaii
Classic Dumbo the elephant picture at Disney!
Exotic Hippo Riding in Hutto, TX
Beach Babies Beach Babies in the Sand!
Canada!
Naturally, family is a big part of my life. I am so ready for our big family trip to Hawaii (only 5 weeks away!) It's only once the chaos is over that you really appreciate your family experiences for what they are!
So what movies could sum up your lives?
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

totally enjoyed this post!
Have a great week :))
Hahahah, I love that hippo pic, hehehehe!
Hmmmm... if my life was a movie... it would be a cross between Eat Pray Love and You've Got Mail. The Eat Pray Love part is all the traveling I have done, and the spiritual side of my life - I have traveled a lot in my life, and prayer and God are a big part of who I am. The You've Got Mail part would be the relationship with my husband.
I adore both of those movies- esp Little Miss Sunshine. Both casts are awesome and the scripts are so funny/well written.
Whoa, your parents really do look like Greg Kinear & Toni Collete! Freakish! I love that movie so much!
