What I'm Loving AND It's Personal

Well hello there, friends! I've managed to make another blog appearance! I know I've been slacking, so you'll have to forgive me for the lack of posts. However, today's post is a combo featuring what I've been loving as well as an It's Personal post! And believe me, it's going to get personal...

First off, let's start with the easy stuff.

What I've been loving lately is the gorgeous weather we've had all week! It's been in the low 90's, but in Texas, we'll take it! Anything beats a scorching 100 degrees outside! To celebrate, I planted some new flowers and herbs outside.

The 2nd thing I've been loving are my iPad apps. Check out this one called Doodle Booth
I've been having fun playing with my pictures and posting them on Instagram.

I've also managed to muster up some of my teachery-outfits for you, glasses and all!
(Caution: Glasses may or may not help me to appear 17 instead of 16!)
I'm still loving pencil skirts. I wear them all.the.time. It's so easy to pair it with a cute top (or dress), add a belt and voila! You're ready to go!
A close-up of my top. It's supposed to be little birds
I actually won this top in a giveaway from Miinto. Unfortunately, this one is sold out but this similar one is still for sale!  And without sounding too much like an advertisement (because I am NOT being paid to say this);
These cropped skinny pants from Gap go with everything!
Do you own a pair? I'm obsessed!
I've also had my eye on these herringbone cropped pants as well!

@J Crew
@Gap

Which would you choose?
 (I'm leaning towards the ones from J. Crew....)

So that's what I've been up to! I also have to send a shout out to to Jordan, who nominated me for a Versatile Blogger Award!

 I feel that 7 Random things about Me would make this post last forever, BUT if you are super curious, you can read a similar post I filled out last year. Not much has changed, but I've definitely done my share of growing up since then.

So instead, here are my top 2 Random Things about Me:
1. I've recently learned that being with someone for the wrong reasons will only fill your life with worry and stress. This includes friends and family. Be grateful for who you have and focus on the people who make you happy.
2. Always be a better version of yourself. Life is all about becoming better and more awesome.

I hope you all are having a great week! I'm going to try my best to make it out for this week's Friday's Fancies. Hope to see you soon!

Jess your outfits are so cute! I love pencil skirts, I only have 1 that *really* fits, and I'm trying to find another. I'm surprised low 90s is cool - I would hate that! I also couldn't agree more with your random statements, especially the one about always striving to be a better version of yourself...that's something I keep trying to tell myself.

I love the J.Crew pants too! I totally know what you mean about the glasses not adding much for age... I actually think mine make me look younger! I'll be showcasing them next week.
