I'm Back!

Hey there... have we met before?

I know it's been awhile, but these past few weeks have been a whirlwind! In fact the month of May completely flew by! I can't believe June is almost on it's way out as well...

I figured I'd start out by sharing what I've been up to!
1. Mother's Day at Bayou Bend Gardens
2. My brother's wedding in Colorado
4. Plenty of Pool Days

Also, I've been spending more of my time here, so be sure to follow me on Instagram if you aren't already!

We also got to cross off another goal! I learned to Stand Up Paddle Board with Paddle Monkeys in Galveston! Unfortunately, we didn't get any pics, but I'm excited to try it again. I'm especially excited since they also offer SUP Yoga! Is anyone down to try it out with me?

Now, the real reason I wanted to update my blog today was to FINALLY show you our bathroom remodel! We completed it back in March and I apologize for taking so long to get it up!

First, out with the old! When we bought the house, we knew the bathroom needed to go. The whole bathroom apparently used to be yellow (including the shower and floors), so the previous owners decided to paint over the tile. But the yellow was beginning to make its reappearance.

After multiple trips to Home Depot and Lowe's.... we are finally ready to reveal the new and improved bathroom....

Ta-Da!

I hope you all have been well and have been enjoying your summer! I'm hoping to have a bit more free time
(at least until August!)

Oh! And I almost forgot! I also took a class on how to make macarons with @Dionne! I'm hoping to perfect some recipes this summer as well!

Hope to see you soon!

The bathroom looks freaking awesome! I really should consult with you before we really start the reno on my parents' house.

And I almost feel off the board last time I did SUP so maybe I'm not the best person for SUP yoga
